These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Receipt for Creators LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Receipt for Creators," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
The Service helps independent creators and freelancers track business expenses, mileage, and income. It uses automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to extract information from receipt images you provide, and it generates estimated tax figures and exportable reports.
You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Because billing is handled through external web checkout and not through Apple's In-App Purchase system, your subscription will not appear in your iOS Settings → Subscriptions, and it must be managed and canceled through the app's Customer Portal link as described above.
You retain ownership of the receipt images, financial data, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending receipt images and text to our AI processing provider to extract information. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to submit it.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to access another user's data; (c) reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service; (d) upload malware or attempt to breach our security; or (e) use the Service to submit content you do not have the right to submit.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECEIPT FOR CREATORS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TAX-RELATED PENALTIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Receipt for Creators LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
